- Television/MP3/Telephone Lines with Voicemail: Now-a-days these items are standard in most hotel rooms, but some lodging facilities charge extra for these facilities.
- Kitchen Facilities: Some places of lodging offer kitchen facilities to allow guests to cook food, but in some hotels this may be in the form of a kitchenette. - Personal Items: Many personal items are provided complimentary for use by guests. These may include iron service, hair dryers, soaps, shampoos, mouthwash, and so on.
Outside the Room Amenities:
- Swimming Pools: Some hotels offer swimming pools to their guests. The outdoor swimming pools may be open seasonally, but the indoor pools can be open round the year.
- Exercise: It is open 24 hours for the guests. Features include upgraded stationary bikes, treadmills, and free weights. Some hotels have fitness centers allowing guests to work out during their visits here.
- Dining: Various forms of dining are offered in various lodging places. Many offer a continental breakfast and it is often complimentary to guests.
- Valet Parking: Valet parking is a parking service offered by many hotels and restaurants. Here customers' vehicles are parked for them by a person called a valet in contrast to self-parking, where customers find the parking space on their own.
